Join the elves in their annual celebration of A Small Town Christmas in Dunnellon Christmas Parade & Celebration as this year’s theme is Winter Wonderland.

The event takes place Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m. and is filled with Christmas carols, decked out parade floats, marching bands, live music, games, bounce houses, snow, and RStyle Band as well as photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus. The parade will start in the Historic Village near Dunnellon Middle School, travel down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Dunnellon Little League Complex, where the Small Town Christmas Celebration will begin.

The celebration at the ballfields starts at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a snow slide, bounce houses, games, music and more. The lighting of the tree will be at 8:30 p.m. with the sounds of the Dunnellon High School Band filling the air with Christmas carols. The awards for best-decorated floats will be issued shortly after the lighting of the tree.

The elves are recruiting, so if you would like to volunteer in any capacity, there are many ways to get involved, make new friends and give back to the community.
