Attractive, showy clusters of bright, shiny, purple berries attract the attention of gardeners, nature lovers and wildlife from fall to winter throughout Florida, the Southeastern Coastal Plain and much of Eastern North America in USDA cold hardiness Zones 6–11. Beautyberry grows in full sun to part shade but usually has more flowers and berries when grown in full sun exposure.
