Crystal River sophomore Katelin Clardy is the lone returning golfer from the 2013 State Meet qualifying team. She is now looked at as the leader of a squad comprised of two sophomores and three freshmen.

CRYSTAL RIVER — One day, Katelin Clardy may have the perfect remedy for the golfer who can’t find the hole with a compass.

The 16-year-old sophomore may end up becoming an anesthesiologist. That means she could take the frustrated duffer and knock him or her out with a local shot.

For now, Clardy is just trying to play good golf for the Crystal River girls golf team.
