CRYSTAL RIVER — The lightning strike didn’t make much of a difference to Crystal River High golfer Kyle Kidd.

After a one-hour delay, he went out and fired a 35 to take medalist honors in the Crystal River High-Citrus High match Tuesday at the Plantation Inn and Golf Resort.

His team boosted its mark to 3-0 with a 159-184 win over Citrus.

Citrus’s Brennen Bishop led his team with a 40.

Citrus is now 0-2.
