’Canes dunk Buffalo

INVERNESS — The Citrus boys basketball team was able to flex its above-the-rim skill and go deep into its bench against an overmatched The Villages Charter in an 83-58 defeat of the Buffalo in the Hurricanes’ gym on Monday.

The triumph extends CHS’ regular season winning streak — dating back to last December — to 16 games. The ’Canes (3-0) have won 29 of their last 32 games.
