Citrus grappler heading to Georgia

Experience wasn’t at the top of Brendan Hess’ list of recruitable factors. It was growth potential that drew interest.

On Wednesday, Hess — who wrestled in the 145-pound weight division for Citrus — made it official when he committed to attend Brewton-Parker College, a small (enrollment: 1,119), NAIA-affiliated school located in Mount Vernon, Georgia.
