Citrus County Animal Shelter
Miss ZIGGY, she's a sweet girl, gives you hugs, and has that boo boo face with some really cute piggy noises she does for treats. She will even lift her paw for them too. Miss Ziggy knows her basic commands, always Walks well on a leash and has a great size to her of only 45 pounds. She is a low energy dog, doesn't ask for much but some attention, TLC and a good hug every now and than. She's a one dog kinda lady, so it is recommended that she needs to be the only dog in the home. If you or someone you know wants a great dog with a voice to her that'll sing you some tunes, come see Ziggy, she is waiting and wanting a chance with a forever family. Ziggy is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on her vaccinations and ready for adoption. Save a life. Adopt a shelter pet. ID: 24281399
Special to the Chronicle

Andy is a 9-month-old Chihuahua/terrier mix that weighs about 15 pounds. He is smart and knows the sit command and is doing great on house training. Sally is a beagle/terrier mix with pretty colors on her face. She is only about 9 months old and weighs 13 pounds and is doing well on her training, also. They would both be wonderful family dogs; adopted together or separately. Adopt A Rescued Pet Inc. does home visits prior to adoptions; therefore, we can only adopt the Citrus County area. Call (352) 795-9550, leave your name, number and pet’s name for a return call from the foster mom. Check www.adoptarescuedpet.com for our other pets and the adoption calendar with locations, dates and times.
