Citrus grads look to their future

The excitement of family and friends filled Citrus High School’s football stadium Thursday as the Class of 2017, clad in black and gold, took their final rite of passage.

The school’s band softly played “Pomp and Circumstance” as graduates began taking seats, eagerly waiting to walk the flower-decorated ramp that led to the podium.

As members of the ROTC presented the colors, Mackenzie Barnett sang  the National Anthem.
