Habit-forming fun

If go-karts came with a warning label, it would probably read “Habit-forming.” At least that’s the vibe from Joe Wigley, president of the Affordable Karting Club and likely its biggest booster.

The local club has been around nearly a decade, running 25 to 30 nights a year at the Citrus County Speedway.

The club provides hands-on instruction, practice and competition in a sport on the affordable fringe of auto racing.
