     John Paul Melchionne, 35, 8412 W. Bowden Court, Homosassa, was arrested Saturday on charges of resisting an officer without violence (giving false information) and driving while license suspended or revoked.
    Bond $1,000.

    Michael Lee Bratcher, 21, 6419 County Road 177, Wildwood, was arrested Saturday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (Xanax).
    Bond $5,000.

    * Ashley Marie Emanuel, 26, of 7365 W. Wilder Court, Homosassa, at 11:49 p.m. Tuesday on misdemeanor charges of resisting an officer without violence and possession of a suspended driver’s license. Bond $650.

  • Massachusetts fugitive nabbed in Citrus County

    Citrus County sheriff’s officials apprehended a man described as an armed career criminal Saturday who is wanted in Massachusetts on charges of — among other things — opening fire in a densely packed neighborhood.

    Police in Barnstable County, Mass., said William Arthur Hayes Jr., 31, fled before he could be arrested.

    * William Brian Myers, 46, 9512 CR 747, Webster, at 10:38 p.m. Monday by Marion County Sheriff’s Office on a Citrus County warrant for fleeing and eluding law enforcement with lights and siren on, charged with speeding and disregard for safety and knowingly driving with a suspended license. Myers was serving local charges with Marion County at time of arrest. Bond $5,500.

    INVERNESS — It started with a provocative Internet ad and ended when law enforcement found the suspect in a parking lot with a .45-caliber handgun and duct tape, deputies said.

    * A burglary to an unoccupied residence and a grand theft occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 80 block of Corkwood Boulevard, Homosassa.
    * A burglary to an unoccupied structure occurred at about 11:46 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 9000 block of W. Fort Island Trail, Crystal River.
