    Jim and Jane Rettick celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 3, 2015.

    The couple were married Jan. 3, 1955, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio. The Bloomington, Illinois, natives moved to Citrus County about 11 years ago.

  • 100th birthday: Edna Gage

    Edna Gage, a resident of Cypress Cove Care Center, celebrated her 100th birthday on Nov. 1, 2014.

    Born Nov. 1, 1914, in Chicago, she has three sons: Tad Gage of Ocala, Timm Gage of Homosassa and Toby Gage of Cypress River.

    Her two grandchildren are Charles Gage, 44, son of Tad, and Adam Gage, 42, son of Toby.
