Coach Amanda Stringer and several members of the Inverness Middle School volleyball team are special guests on today’s Sheriff’s 10-43 show. The show is from 7:30 to 8 p.m. on WYKE, channel 16 for cable customers. The team (all 30 of them) will be running the 16th annual Beat the Sheriff 5K Race and have been raising money for Jessie’s Place, the children’s advocacy center which receives all race proceeds. Tune into this special show to see how the girls are working as a team to support this great cause, all while training to beat the sheriff at his own race. The show also can be viewed on Fridays at 11 a.m. For those with satellite, prior Sheriff’s 10-43 shows can be watched at www.sheriffcitrus.org.
