People who live in the seven counties of West Central Florida — including Citrus — can go to a website to advise planners about future transportation hopes.
The Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority (TBARTA) has launched TellTBARTA, a comprehensive community engagement website where residents can engage, communicate and collaborate with transportation officials and other residents about the update of the TBARTA Master Plan.
The goal is to get the community involved in the future of transportation. Along the way, TellTBARTA will be used as an online tool to generate new ideas and feedback to shape the master plan.
TellTBARTA gives contributors a chance to share new ideas, second others’ ideas, expand upon existing ideas and give feedback on initiatives, working with other residents and community leaders on many topics.
Example topics include: How do we balance the needs of moving residents around a region with the needs of moving freight in and out of an area? How do you see our transportation future?
The site also measures and tracks participation, identifying the most interested respondents and most compelling topics.
