Arrests

* Mathew Briggs, 36, of South Stonebrook Drive, Homosassa, at 3:23 p.m. Sept. 2 on a misdemeanor charge of knowingly driving with a suspended license. He was also charged with felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge driving with a suspended license. According to his arrest affidavit, deputies pulled over Briggs as he was exiting the probation office because he was known to have a suspended license.

* Christopher Perry, 37, of Ocala, at 4:10 p.m. Sept. 2 on an active warrant. 

* Johnnie Delvalle, 26, of Beverly Hills Boulevard, Beverly Hills, at 12:31 a.m. Sept. 3 on a misdemeanor charge of giving a false report to a law enforcement officer. According to his arrest affidavit, Delvalle is accused of providing deputies with false information concerning the theft of his backpack. He reportedly told deputies he was robbed at gunpoint while walking home, but a witness said that the backpack was stolen when Delvalle left it outside of the Winn-Dixie. His bond was set at $1,000.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 6:33 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the 8600 block of N. Golfview Drive, Dunnellon.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 7:58 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 50 block of Civic Circle, Beverly Hills.

* A residential burglary was reported at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 5800 block of S. Bamma Drive, Homosassa.

* A residential burglary was reported at 5:24 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 11300 block of N. Derosa Terrace, Dunnellon.

Thefts

* A grand theft was reported at 9:33 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 3000 block of W. Juliet Place, Dunnellon.

* A petit theft was reported at 10:46 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 8600 block of W. Miss Maggie Drive, Homosassa.

* A grand theft was reported at 11:35 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 8500 block of E. Marvin St., Floral City.

* A petit theft was reported at 9:44 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, in the 4500 block of E. Donora Lane, Floral City.

* A grand theft was reported at 2:41 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 70 block of Rose Ave., Beverly Hills.

* A grand theft was reported at 4:59 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 13000 block of S. Florida Ave., Floral City.

* A grand theft was reported at 8:54 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 1000 block of Mossy Oak Drive, Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the 3100 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 11:56 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 4100 block of S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa.

* A grand theft was reported at 2:54 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 3800 block of S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

* A petit theft was reported at 8:42 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 9500 block of S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa.

Vandalisms

* A vandalism was reported at 3:48 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in the 8400 block of W. Buckwood Court, Homosassa.

* A vandalism was reported at 9:57 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, in the 40 block of S. Washington St., Beverly Hills.

* A vandalism was reported at 7:57 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, in the 1400 block of Stowe St., Inverness. 

* A vandalism was reported at 9:29 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the 5100 block of W. Emy Lou Court, Dunnellon.
