Domestic battery arrests

* Kendic Zlatko, 53, of Homosassa, at 7:52 p.m. Aug. 26 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* David Lemon Jr., 19, of Crystal River, at 4:11 a.m. Aug. 27 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. He was also charged with felony violation of probation.

Other arrests

* Michael Sparks, 29, of West Grant Street, Homosassa, at 6 p.m. Aug. 26 on an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance (hydromorphone). His bond was set at $2,000.

* Kyle Ellis, 26, of North Lee Street, Beverly Hills, at 9:11 p.m. Aug. 26 on a felony charge of possession with intent to sell cannabis. Ellis is accused of having approximately 97.9 grams of marijuana in his possession. According to his arrest report, Ellis was pulled over for illegal window tint. K-9 Deputy Repo alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle and the marijuana along with a digital scale and numerous baggies were found in Ellis’ possession. Forfeiture paperwork is set to be completed on Ellis’ truck. His bond was set at $2,000.

* Benjamin Brown Jr., 23, of North Cannes Point, 

Hernando, at 1:01 a.m. Aug. 27 on a felony charge of failing to report an address change within 48 hours as required for sex offenders. According to his arrest affidavit, Brown changed his address on his driver’s license on Aug. 8, but failed to notify the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office of the change. His bond was set at $5,000.

* Clifford Marcy, 33, of South Suncoast Boulevard, Homosassa, at 12:26 a.m. Aug. 27 on a misdemeanor charge of retail petit theft. According to his arrest affidavit, Marcy is accused of shoplifting a Snapper weed trimmer from the Inverness area Walmart. Marcy reportedly placed the weed trimmer in his shopping cart and exited the Walmart without being detained. Deputies were able to identify and arrest Marcy using video surveillance showing the tag number of the vehicle that Marcy left in. His bond was set at $1,000.

* Jason Dunn, 38, of West Billows Lane, Homosassa, at 6:51 a.m. Aug. 27 on a misdemeanor charge of battery. According to his arrest affidavit, Dunn is accused of punching the victim in the mouth and stomach following a verbal argument between the two. His bond was set at $500.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 3:24 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, in the 500 block of N. Rock Crusher Road, Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 1:57 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at N. Tyler Street, Beverly Hills.

* A residential burglary was reported at 1:57 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at N. Tyler Street, Beverly Hills.

* A residential burglary was reported at 1:44 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 300 block of S. U.S. 41, Inverness.

* A residential burglary was reported at 2:23 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 200 block of N. Citrus Ave., Inverness.

Thefts

* A petit theft was reported at 8:34 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, in the 3300 block of S. Fairway Terrace, Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the 9100 block of N. Lisa Terrace, Dunnellon.

* A petit theft was reported at 4:45 p .m. Aug. 26 in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 9:09 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 1000 block of N.E. Fifth St., Crystal River.

Vandalisms

* A vandalism was reported at 8:33 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, in the 3700 block of N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills. 

* A vandalism was reported at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the 900 block of Ferncreek Ave., Inverness.

* A vandalism was reported at 1:40 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 6000 block of W. Oak Park Blvd., Homosassa.
