DUI arrests

* William Colaci, 47, of West Gardenia Drive, Citrus Springs, at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to his arrest affidavit, Colaci was driving on the wrong side of the road on North Citrus Springs Boulevard. He was asked to perform field sobriety tasks and did poorly. Tests of Colaci’s breath showed his blood alcohol concentration was 0.172 percent, 0.156 percent and 0.169 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent. Bond $1,000.

* Timothy McAndrews, 52, of Bannock Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia, at 5:36 a.m. Aug. 18 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence, and a felony charge of knowingly driving with a suspended license from a previous DUI. According to his arrest affidavit, McAndrews was found sleeping while in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was still running. He was asked to perform field sobriety tasks and did poorly. A database search confirmed that McAndrews’ license had been suspended following a DUI in May of 2006. Tests of McAndrews’ breath showed his blood alcohol concentration was 0.099 percent, and 0.098 percent. Bond $12,000.

Domestic battery arrests

* Walter Hill, 57, of Dunnellon, at 4:41 p.m. Aug. 16 on a misdemeanor charge of violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence.

* Joseph Larose, 21, of Belleview, at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. He was also charged with felony battery on a law enforcement or EMS employee, along with misdemeanor disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence.

* Jeremiah Whetstine, 32 of Inverness, at 8:38 p.m. Aug. 17 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Other arrests

* Debra Fuller, 55, of West Stockholm Lane, Dunnellon, at 8:28 a.m. Aug. 15 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of failure to comply with sex offender reporting.

* Anthony Broadhurst, 26, of South Harrison Street, Beverly Hills, at 12:26 p.m. Aug. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. According to his arrest report, Broadhurst is accused of cutting the wire to the security camera at the Beverly Hills Horseshoe Club. He was reportedly seen on camera shortly before the wire was cut, then again on other cameras shortly afterward. Broadhurst was arrested again at 1:59 p.m. for fraudulent use of credit cards. According to his arrest affidavit, Broadhurst is accused of using credit cards that had been stolen by another party. Broadhurst reportedly filled his car with gas and purchased food from the Circle K in Lecanto using the stolen card, then went to the Lecanto Walmart and attempted to purchase a cellphone, but the card was declined. His total bond was set at $2,500.

* Daniel Bennett, 25, of South Florida Avenue, Floral City, at 12:46 p.m. Aug. 15 on an active Levy County warrant for felony grand theft. His bond was set at $50,000.

* Justen Huff Jr., 23, of Inverness, at 2:05 p.m. Aug. 15 on an active warrant for felony charges of battery on a person over the age of 65, and aggravated battery with use of a deadly weapon.

* Charles Roddenberry, 36, of South Wolfe Point, Lecanto, at 2:23 p.m. Aug. 15 on an active warrant for misdemeanor petit theft. His bond was set at $250.

* Daniel Alpers, 30, of Pritchard Island Road, Inverness, at 2:51 p.m. Aug. 15 on felony charges of grand theft and burglary becoming armed. According to his arrest affidavit, Alpers is accused of breaking into an Inverness residence and stealing a left-handed .22 rifle and a Poulen chainsaw on May 24. The victim reportedly was able to recognize Alpers from video surveillance of the home that showed two males breaking in. Deputies were unable to locate Alpers until he was detained during a routine traffic stop. His bond was set at $27,000.

* Nicolle Couture, 27, of South Desoto Street, Beverly Hills, at 4:53 p.m. Aug. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of petit theft. According to her arrest affidavit, Couture is accused of shoplifting a wireless speaker, BB pellets and a pair of press-on fingernails, valued at $52.76 from the Lecanto Walmart. Her bond was set at $500.

* Kimberly Scull, 35, of Montana Street, Beverly Hills, at 5:37 p.m. Aug. 15 on an active warrant for possession with intent to sell or manufacture methamphetamine. Her bond was set at $50,000.

* Suzanne Holler, 48, of North Roscoe Road, Hernando, at 7:53 p.m. Aug. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of resisting an arrest. According to her arrest affidavit, Holler was a passenger in a vehicle that was being driven by a wanted subject. During the traffic stop, the driver reportedly attempted to flee on foot. While deputies were chasing down the driver, Holler reportedly drove away from the scene. Deputies located Holler and the vehicle at her home. Her bond was set at $1,000.

* Christopher Hayes, 42, of West Woodland Ridge Drive, Lecanto, at 8:16 p.m. Aug. 15 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing in a structure after warning. According to his arrest affidavit, Hayes is accused of trespassing in the Kwik Save Store in Homosassa after being trespassed from the site on July 29 for harassing customers. His bond was set at $1,000.

* Christopher Gaede, 55, of East Yorkshire Lane, Holder, at 11:21 p.m. Aug. 15 on an active Macon County, Illinois, warrant for failing to appear stemming from the original charge of driving under the influence, and as such was a fugitive from justice.

* George Moon, 25, of Inverness, at 1:51 a.m. Aug. 16 on two misdemeanor counts of battery. According to his arrest affidavit, Moon is accused of punching two victims in the face in the parking lot of Griff’s Bar in Inverness. His bond was set at $2,000.

* Kimberly Blake, 55, of South Shiner Terrace, Inverness, at 2:37 a.m. Aug. 16 for felony retail theft. According to her arrest affidavit, Blake is accused of shoplifting a 48-inch television, a box of dog treats and a child’s blanket from the Inverness Walmart. Her bond was set at $2,000.

* Randy Brumm Jr., 35, of East Evelyn Street, Hernando, at 6:16 a.m. Aug. 16 on felony charges of retail theft, trafficking in methamphetamine and introduction of contraband into a detention facility. According to his arrest affidavits, Brumm is accused of shoplifting a 48-inch television, a box of dog treats, and a child’s blanket from the Inverness Walmart. Deputies arrested Kimberly Blake for the felony retail theft and she reportedly admitted that both she and Brumm had shoplifted the items together. Brumm was pulled over a short time later and taken into custody. He is accused of having approximately 20.8 grams of methamphetamine in his possession following his arrest and leaving the meth in the back seat of the patrol car he was transported in. Brumm reportedly entered the Citrus County Detention Facility with a baggie containing methamphetamine residue on his person. His total bond was set at $29,000.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 8:54 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in the 3100 block of Crystal River High Drive, Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 12:52 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in the 6700 block of S. Maxwell Point, Homosassa.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 1:27 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 8100 block of W. Grover Cleveland Blvd., Homosassa.

* A residential burglary was reported at 8:25 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, in the 7200 block of W. 7 Rivers Drive, Crystal River.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 6:53 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 30 block of S. Fillmore St., Beverly Hills.

Thefts

* A petit theft was reported at 10:19 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in the 500 block of W. Highland Blvd., Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 10:37 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 6800 block of S. Dove Drive, Floral City.

* A larceny petit theft was reported at noon Aug. 15 in the 1400 block of E. Amberjack Drive, Hernando.

* A larceny petit theft was reported at 12:21 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 900 block of Birch Ave., Inverness.

* A larceny petit theft was reported at 1:46 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 6800 block of S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa.

* A larceny petit theft was reported at 3:55 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 1900 block of N. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

* A grand theft was reported at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 5:11 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 10 block of Polk St., Beverly Hills.

* A petit theft was reported at 6:09 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.

* An auto theft was reported at 8:24 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, in the 6100 block of S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

* A grand theft was reported at 9:16 a.m. Aug. 17 in the 12000 block of E. Berry Lane, Floral City.

* A grand theft was reported at 1:28 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, in the 6800 block of S. Dove Drive, Floral City.
