DUI arrests

* Gary Lawson, 78, of West Romany Loop, Beverly Hills, at 5:51 p.m. June 15 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to his arrest affidavit, Lawson was involved in a single vehicle traffic accident, where he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and flipped it on the shoulder of Forest Ridge Boulevard. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests and did poorly. Tests of his breath showed his blood alcohol concentration was 0.098 percent and 0.098 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent. Bond $1,000.

* Elsie Huffman, 69, of East Eagles Nest Court, Inverness, at 11:59 p.m. June 15 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to her arrest affidavit, Huffman ran a stop sign and failed to maintain a single lane of traffic. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests and did poorly. A single test of her breath showed her blood alcohol concentration was 0.148 percent. She was reportedly unable or unwilling to submit a second test. The legal limit is 0.08 percent. Bond $500.

Domestic battery arrests

* Alton Peters, 56, of Crystal River, at 11:06 a.m. June 13 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Wayne Curtis Jr., 43, of Crystal River, at 11:58 p.m. June 13 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Daniel Ball, 28, of Homosassa, at 12:52 p.m. June 14 on a misdemeanor charge of violating a protective injunction.

* Jessica Newberry, 26, of Beverly Hills, at 3:07 a.m. June 15 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Bobby Eiland, 45, of Hernando, at 10:34 p.m. June 15 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of cannabis.

* Raymond Inzitari, 61, of Homosassa, at 10:55 p.m. June 15 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Richard White, 59, of Inverness, at 6:05 a.m. June 16 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Lisa Nightengale, 52, of Beverly Hills, at 7:57 a.m. June 16 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. She was also charged with intentional unlawful threat to do violence.

Other arrests

* Joshua Newell, 26, of West Wheeler Avenue, Brandon, at 2:21 a.m. June 13 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of using computer services to seduce or solicit a child. He was reportedly already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility at the time of his arrest.

* Christopher Stimel, 54, of North Pennsylvania Avenue, Crystal River, at 4:01 p.m. June 13 on an active Marion County warrant for grand theft. Bond $2,000.

* Jennifer Douglas, 28, of South Oldfield Avenue, Homosassa, at 6:39 p.m. June 13 on a misdemeanor charge of battery. According to her arrest affidavit, Douglas was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate while incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility. She reportedly pulled the victim’s hair and punched her in the mouth. Bond $1,000.

* Amber Money, 36, of East Wacker Street, Hernando, at 7:27 p.m. June 13 on a felony charge of knowingly driving with a suspended license (third offense). According to the report, Money’s license had been suspended five times and she had been previously arrested for driving with a suspended license. Bond $1,000.

* Robin Lambert, 47 of South Lee Street, Beverly Hills, at 10:18 p.m. June 13 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, along with misdemeanor charges of possession of cannabis, and drug paraphernalia. According to her arrest affidavit, Lambert was pulled over in Beverly Hills. A hydrocodone pill, a glass pipe and approximately 7 grams of cannabis were found in her possession. Bond $4,000.

* Shane Simms, 30 of West Grant Street, Homosassa, at 3:06 a.m. June 14 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. According to his arrest affidavit, Simms was pulled over for a cracked windshield. A K-9 unit alerted to possible drugs and an oxycodone pill, methamphetamine and a digital scale were found in his possession. Bond $4,500.

* William Pringle, 53 of Homosassa, at 10:48 a.m. June 14 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. Bond $500.

* Ryan Parrington, 27 of East River Moon Court, Inverness, at 12:22 p.m. June 14 on a felony charge of burglary to an unoccupied structure, and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. According to his arrest affidavit, Parrington is accused of breaking into a business in Inverness. He reportedly broke a window and cut multiple screens during the break in, leaving a trail of blood throughout the building, including bloody footprints of a shoe with a zigzag pattern. Deputies had confronted Parrington a little after 5 a.m. in the parking lot of Griff’s Bar in Inverness, where he was bleeding and appeared intoxicated. His car was in the parking lot and had blood on the passenger side and a broken window. Parrington claimed he was trying to locate his car keys. EMS was called and transported Parrington to Citrus Memorial hospital for treatment to his laceration. Bond $6,000.

* William Nimnicht, 25 of South Euclid Terrace, Homosassa, at 11:58 p.m. June 14 on three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. According to his arrest affidavit, Nimnicht was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for a faulty taillight. A K-9 unit alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle and two morphine pills, methamphetamine residue and a glass pipe were found in his possession. Bond $7,000.

* Frances Stafford, 56, and Terry Stafford, 52, of West Woodland Place, Homosassa, at 6:45 p.m. June 15 on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia. According to their arrest affidavits, deputies arrived at the Staffords’ residence on a wellness check. A digital scale, numerous hypodermic needles and two spoons with methamphetamine residue were found in the couple’s bedroom. Bond was set $5,500 for each of the accused.

* Lonnie McKinnon, 57, of South Old Floral City Road, Floral City, at 7:03 p.m. June 15 on a felony charge of knowingly driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender. According to the report, McKinnon’s license had been suspended four times and he had been previously arrested for driving with a suspended license. Bond $2,000.

* Brenda Rigsby, 43, of Geronimo Street, Brooksville, at 4:30 a.m. June 16 on an active warrant for retail petit theft. She was reportedly already in custody on unrelated charges at the Citrus County Detention Facility. Bond $500.

* A residential burglary was reported at 1:54 a.m. Thursday, June 12, in the 5700 block of S. Penway Point, Homosassa.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 10:01 a.m. June 12 in the 40 block of S.J. Kellner Blvd., Beverly Hills.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 11:35 a.m. June 12 in the 900 block of S. Brisson Terrace, Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 3:12 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, in the area of North Lecanto Highway and Regina Boulevard, Beverly Hills.

* A grand theft was reported at 7:37 a.m. June 10 in the 11000 block of W. Bayshore Drive, Crystal River.

* A grand theft was reported at 7:53 a.m. June 10 in the 9700 block of E. Goldfinch Lane, Inverness.
