Arrests

* Craig Stevens, 48, of South Buckley Point, Inverness, at 10:29 a.m. April 30 on an active warrant for petit theft and trespassing. Bond $10,000. 

* Antonio Jones, 30, of Beverly Hills, at 12:40 p.m. April 30 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing after warning.

*Jeffery Elkins, 49, at 2:57 p.m. April 30 on an active warrant for felony battery on a person 65 years or older. According to his arrest affidavit, Elkins was transported from the Polk County Jail to the Citrus County Detention Facility. Bond $2,000. 

* Travis Bartlett, 25, of Thunderbird Avenue, Spring Hill, at 3:04 p.m. April 30 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from the original charges of grand theft and burglary. According to his arrest affidavit, Bartlett was transported from the Hernando County Jail to the Citrus County Detention Facility. 

* Mathew Jefferson, 21, of East Elgin Lane, Inverness, at 2 p.m. April 30 on felony charges of possession of firearm ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance and felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was also charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. According to his arrest affidavit, deputies executed a search warrant on Jefferson’s residence. They reportedly found 4.8 ounces of cannabis, a .45 caliber bullet, and a glass pipe in his possession. Bond $15,500.

* Christopher Lawson, 52, of Gloucester, Massachusetts, at 7:15 p.m. April 30 on felony charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to his arrest affidavit, Lawson flagged down a deputy, stating he needed help because he was lost. He was reportedly wearing a holster with a firearm. The deputy ran a background check and discovered that he was a convicted felon from Cobb County, Georgia. A revolver, a Zombie stun gun and one box of Winchester .357 ammunition were found in his possession. Bond $10,000.

* Jennifer Minnella, 24, of East Elgin Lane, Inverness, at 3 p.m. April 30 on a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. According to her arrest affidavit, deputies executed a search warrant on Minnella’s residence. They reportedly found a glass cannabis pipe containing cannabis residue in her bedroom. Bond $500.

* Steven Filingeri, 47, of East Harvard Street, Inverness, at 9:15 p.m. April 30 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. According to his arrest affidavit, deputies were called by DCF concerning possible drug activity at the residence. After conducting a consented search of the home, methamphetamine, syringes, and a broken pipe were reportedly found in Filingeri’s possession. Bond $5,500.

* Cindy Broad, 46, of Southwest 80th Street, Ocala, at 8 p.m. April 30 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. According to her arrest affidavit, Broad was pulled over for a cracked windshield and consented to a search of her vehicle. Approximately 0.4 grams of methamphetamine and a pipe were reportedly found in her possession. Bond $2,500.

* A residential burglary was reported at 2:54 p.m. April 28 in the 3300 block of W. Kevin Lane, Lecanto.

* A residential burglary was reported at 3:07 p.m. April 28 in the 400 block of N.E. 13th Terrace, Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 3:08 p.m. April 28 in the 800 block of N. Hollywood Circle, Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 3:23 p.m. April 28 in the 800 block of Sherwood Ave., Inverness.

* A residential burglary was reported at 4:04 p.m. April 28 in the 9600 block of N. Elkcam Blvd., Dunnellon.

* A residential burglary was reported at 8:09 p.m. April 28 in the 3000 block of W. Cardinal St., Lecanto.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 10:19 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, in the 200 block of W. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Lecanto.

* A residential burglary was reported at 5:23 p.m. April 30 in the 3800 block of E. Camelot Place, Hernando.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 1:49 a.m. Thursday, May 1, in the 5900 block of W. Poplar Springs Circle, Crystal River.

* A grand theft was reported at 8:25 a.m. Monday, April 28, in the 8400 block of S. Lake Consuella Drive, Floral City.

* A petit theft was reported at 11:32 a.m. April 28 in the 6800 block of E. Bluebird Lane, Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 1:36 p.m. April 28 in the 100 block of S. Apopka Ave., Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 1:45 p.m. April 28 in the 500 block of S.E. 7th Ave., Crystal River.
