Domestic battery arrest

* Benjamin Garcia, 23, of Inverness, at 5:07 p.m. March 1 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. No bond.

DUI arrests

* Deana Grippo, 45, of East Turner Camp Road, Inverness, at 1:08 a.m. March 2 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to her arrest affidavit, she was pulled over on State Road 44 in Inverness. She said she had consumed about 10 to 12 beers that evening at a bar in Homosassa. She had difficulty performing sobriety tasks and refused to submit to a test of her breath. Bond $500.

* Louise Lunt, 34, of North Nighthawk Terrace, Inglis, at 3:22 a.m. March 2 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to her arrest affidavit, she was pulled over at the intersection of U.S. 19 and West Riverwood Drive in Crystal River. She admitted to drinking and asked if she could call a taxi for a ride. She had difficulty performing sobriety tasks and tests of her breath showed her blood alcohol concentration was 0.243 percent and 0.237 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent. Bond $500.

* Glenn Connor, 51, of East Harley Street, Inverness, at 12:45 a.m. Feb. 28 on a Citrus County warrant on violation of probation on original felony charges of battery and selling, manufacturing or delivering cannabis. No bond.

* Brandon Debose, 27, of Pleasant Grove Road, Inverness, at 1:19 a.m. Feb. 28 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). Bond $5,000.

* Heiss Villamizar, 36, of South Harrison Street, Beverly Hills, at 2:16 a.m. Feb. 28 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. Bond $500.

* Michael Kinder, 27, of East Moonrise Lane, Floral City, at 9:40 a.m. Feb. 28 on felony charges of trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property and theft of an auto. According to his arrest affidavit, he is accused of stealing a vehicle on Moonrise Lane in Floral City and attempting to sell it to a recycling facility. No bond.

* Anthony Orsi Jr., 20, of Melissa Drive, Beverly Hills, at 5:45 p.m. Feb. 28 on two felony charges of grand theft, two felony charges of burglary and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. According to his arrest affidavit, he was arrested in connection with a burglary at a VFW building on North Carl G. Rose Highway in Hernando. Bond $19,250.

* Mark Cavanagh, 41, of South Colonial Avenue, Homosassa, at 5:48 p.m. 

Feb. 28 on a felony charge of grand theft. According to his arrest affidavit, he is accused of stealing a hedge trimmer. Bond $3,000.

* Terence Gernatt, 23, of North Greco Terrace, Dunnellon, at 3:04 a.m. March 1 on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and a misdemeanor charge of possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis. Bond $10,500.

* Timothy Neeld, 47, of West Hunterhill Street, Dunnellon, at 4:38 a.m. March 1 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine). Bond $2,000.

* Terry Powell, 26, of West Woodland Place, Homosassa, at 11:20 a.m. March 1 on a Citrus County warrant on violation of probation on an original felony charge of resisting an officer with violence and an original misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. No bond.

* Mildred Graham, 35, of East Early Street, Brooksville, at 1:48 p.m. March 1 on a Lake County warrant on a felony charge of petit theft. Bond $127.92.

* Courtney Simmons, 38, of Lone Pine Street, Homosassa, at 2:50 p.m. March 1 on a misdemeanor charge of battery. Bond $500.

* Michael England, 53, of South Pine Avenue, Inverness, at 3:01 p.m. March 1 of a Citrus County warrant for felony charges of trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property, giving false verification of ownership/false identification to a pawnbroker and burglary to an unoccupied residence. Bond $26,000.

* Sara Canfield, 43, of Crystal River, at 5:03 p.m. March 1 on felony charges of grand theft and burglary to an unoccupied structure. Bond $7,000.

* Craig Witfill, 35, of South Monroe Street, Beverly Hills, at 5:47 p.m. March 1 on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly intoxication. Bond $150.

* Andrew Tucker, 19, of Vassar Street, Inverness, at 8:51 p.m. March 1 on a misdemeanor charge of retail petit theft. Bond $250. 

Thefts

* A petit theft was reported at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in the 1200 block of S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa.

* A petit theft was reported at 3:51 p.m. March 5 in the 6400 block of W. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Crystal River.

* A grand theft was reported at 8:45 p.m. March 5 in the 1400 block of N. U.S. 41, Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 8:50 p.m. March 5 in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.
