DUI arrests

* Clyde Parker Jr., 48, of West Mustang Boulevard, Beverly Hills, at 7:32 p.m. March 8 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to his arrest affidavit, Parker was stopped for failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests and did poorly. He refused Breathalyzer testing to measure his blood alcohol concentration. Bond $500.

* Scott Evans, 43, of North Afterglow Circle, Crystal River, at 10:54 p.m. 

March 8 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to his arrest affidavit, Evans was stopped during a routine traffic stop. A plastic bag with four prescription bottles was reportedly seen in the passenger seat. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests and did poorly. Tests of his breath showed his blood alcohol concentration was 0.0 percent and 0.0 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent. Evans also reportedly submitted a urine sample for further analysis. Bond $500.

* Susan Phillips, 54, of West Star Court, Homosassa, at 11:42 p.m. March 9 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to her arrest affidavit Phillips was stopped for an indefinite period in an intersection. She refused to perform field sobriety tests, as well as Breathalyzer testing to measure her blood alcohol concentration. Bond $1,000.

Domestic battery arrests

* Michael Whitlock, 47, of Beverly Hills, at 9:24 a.m. March 7 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Joanne Whitlock, 54, of Beverly Hills, at 9:24 a.m. March 7 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Charles Tafoya, 26, of Inverness, at 10:34 a.m. March 7 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Antonio Dixon, 23, of Beverly Hills, at 5:59 p.m. March 7 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

* Branden Evans, 35, of Crystal River, at 10:11 a.m. March 9 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Other arrests

* Mashuana Kinzer, 34, of South Tyler Street, Beverly Hills, at 1:19 p.m. March 7 on an active Hernando County warrant for felony battery on a person 65 years of age or older, and felony aggravated assault on a person 65 years of age or older. 

* Natal Ramon, 23, of East Mary Lue Street, Inverness, at 2:11 p.m. March 7 on a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence. According to his arrest affidavit, Ramon is accused of refusing to provide identification to a deputy when requested to do so. The deputies were investigating a grand theft at the time, and Ramon was seen entering the Big Lots store with the suspect. Bond $500.

* Robert Pane, 25, of West Arms Drive, Crystal River, at 2:11 p.m. March 7 on a felony charge of grand theft. According to his arrest affidavit, Pane is accused of stealing four Chevrolet aluminum rims with Goodyear wrangler tires, valued at approximately $1,000, from Gulf Breeze Auto Mart. Pane was also charged with felony violation of probation stemming from the new arrest. He was originally on probation for grand theft charges. 

* David Whitley, 37, of East Pike Drive, Inverness, at 5:01 p.m. March 7 on a felony charge of driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender. According to records, his license was revoked on Jan. 3, 2013, for 60 months for being a habitual offender. Bond $1,000.

* Robert Allen, 37, of Maple Avenue, Inverness, at 5:21 p.m. March 7 on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence. According to his arrest affidavit, Allen was stopped for running a stop sign. A K-9 unit alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle. A plastic baggie containing approximately one gram of methamphetamine was found in his possession. During the search, Allen reportedly tried to conceal the drugs by throwing them out of the vehicle. Bond $7,000.

* Raul Puentes, 30, of East Amity Street, Inverness, at 5:18 p.m. March 7 on a felony charge of possession with intent to sell a controlled substance. Deputies, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency, executed a federal search warrant to search Puentes’ residence. Sixteen live adult marijuana plants were found growing in an outbuilding on the property, averaging 3 to 4 feet tall. Fluorescent lights, pots, a water supply, electricity, Co2 and other miscellaneous items associated with an active marijuana grow operation were also found in the outbuilding. Bond $5,000.

* Monica Fisher, 49, of Evanston Street, Brooksville, at 8:11 p.m. March 8 on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of grand theft. According to her arrest affidavit, Fisher is accused of shoplifting various items, totaling $422, from the Inverness Walmart on March 5. On March 8, Fisher returned to the store and is accused of shoplifting a coffee maker and an air purifier, with a total value of $311.64. During her arrest, two unprescribed Clonazepam pills were reportedly found in her possession. Bond $9,000.

* Au’Sharai Vickers, 20, of Crystal River, at 10:05 p.m. March 8 on a felony charge of burglary with battery and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. Bond $25,500.

* Victor Johnson, 34, of Southwest Second Street, Pompano Beach, at 1:15 a.m. March 9 on an active warrant for felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a public park. According to his arrest affidavit, Johnson is accused of selling cocaine near a public park. He was transported to the Citrus County Detention Facility from the Okaloosa County Jail. Bond $35,000.

* Kevin Miles, 37, of Melissa Drive, Beverly Hills, at 1:23 a.m. March 9 on a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence. According to his arrest affidavit, Miles attempted to flee when he was confronted by a deputy concerning a verbal dispute. Bond $500.

* Kevin Axelson, 21, of Carringer Road, Dade City, at 3:20 a.m. March 9 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of lewdness and lascivious battery on a victim 12-15 years of age. According to his arrest affidavit, Axelson was transported to the Citrus County Detention Facility from the Pasco County Jail. 

* Richard Wamser, 60, of Inverness, at 11:38 a.m. March 9 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing in a structure after warning. According to his arrest affidavit, Wamser was sleeping on the porch of the victim after he had previously been trespassed from the site. Bond $500.

* Richard Miller IV, 19 of West Woodland Place, Homosassa, at 2:08 p.m. March 9 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of drug paraphernalia. 

* Rickey Smith, 58 of West Park Drive, Homosassa, at 6:14 p.m. March 9 on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. According to the arrest affidavit, Smith is accused of going to the victim’s home and getting into a verbal altercation. He then removed a pick axe from his vehicle and attempted to use it to strike the victim. Bond $5,000.

* A residential burglary was reported at 12:04 p.m. Saturday, March 8, in the 1600 block of S. Iroquois Ave., Homosassa.

* A residential burglary was reported at 12:57 p.m. March 8 in the 12600 block of S. Florida Ave., Floral City.

* A residential burglary was reported at 3:29 p.m. March 8 in the 8600 block of W. Mayo Drive S., Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 3:16 a.m. Sunday, March 9, in the 2800 block of W. Century Boulevard, Dunnellon.

* A residential burglary was reported at 12:40 p.m. March 9 in the 70 block of N. Country Club Drive, Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 10:05 p.m. March 9 in the 1700 block of Druid Road, Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 10:18 a.m. March 7 in the 1300 block of S.E. U.S. 19, Crystal River.

* An auto theft was reported at 10:39 a.m. March 7 in the 80 block of S. Harrison St., Beverly Hills.

* A petit theft was reported at 10:40 a.m. March 7 in the 2500 block of N. Florida Ave., Hernando.

* A grand theft was reported at 4:29 p.m. March 7 in the 1500 block of E. Amberjack Drive, Hernando.
