Domestic battery arrests

* Tyler Mathews, 46, of Homosassa, at 10 p.m. Feb. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. No bond.

* Jason Roe, 35, of Hernando, at 11:02 p.m. Feb. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. No bond.

Other arrests

* Robert Martin, 29, of West Patriot Street, Homosassa, at 12:28 p.m. Feb. 5 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of grand theft. Bond was denied.

* Kevin Heard, 42, of North Varsity Avenue, Citrus Springs, at 2 p.m. Feb. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of retail petit theft. According to his arrest affidavit, Heard is accused of shoplifting eight video games, valued at $159.58, from the Inverness Walmart. Deputies were alerted and stopped his vehicle as it was exiting the parking lot. Bond $250.

* Allen Roberts Jr., 25, of East Jupiter Street, Inverness, at 6:16 p.m. Feb. 5 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of grand theft. Bond was denied.

* James Marino, 24, at 8:49 p.m. Feb. 5 on a felony charge of burglary to an unoccupied structure. According to his arrest affidavit, Marino is accused of breaking into a secured shed in Homosassa to reportedly steal a Craftsman riding lawn mower. He turned himself in to the Citrus County Detention Facility. Bond $3,000.

* Tammy Bryant, 54, at 9 p.m. Feb. 5 on a charge of felony retail theft, with two or more prior convictions of any theft. According to her arrest affidavit, Bryant is accused of shoplifting a package of boxer briefs and a package of men’s white socks from the Dollar General in Hernando. Bond $2,000.

* Joseph Corona, 57, of South Power Terrace, Homosassa, at 10:07 p.m. Feb. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly intoxication. According to his arrest affidavit Corona is accused of walking down Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa yelling obscenities and encouraging lazy people to get a job. Bond $150.

* Alton Peters, 55, of Homosassa, at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 5 on a misdemeanor charge of battery. According to his arrest affidavit Peters is accused of grabbing the victim by his shirt and shoving him against a window during a physical altercation at the Homosassa McDonalds. The altercation reportedly resulted from a disagreement that took place in a homeless camp located behind an area bowling alley where both parties currently reside. Bond $500.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 12:58 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the 10 block of S. Lee St., Beverly Hills.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 10:18 a.m. Feb. 5 in the 9700 block of W. Arms Drive, Crystal River.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 1:48 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 1900 block of W. Main St., Inverness.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 2:47 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 8400 block of W. Lyrical Lane, Crystal River.

* A residential burglary was reported at 6:06 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 600 block of Long Ave., Inverness.

* A residential burglary was reported at 8:32 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 1000 block of N. Man O War Drive, Inverness.

* A residential burglary was reported at 10:41 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 900 block of N. Song Point, Crystal River.

Thefts

* An auto theft was reported at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the 60 block of S. Lee St., Beverly Hills.

* A larceny petit theft was reported at 11:39 a.m. Feb. 5 in the 5400 block of S. Palace Path, Homosassa.

* A petit theft was reported at 1:48 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 3:09 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 6100 block of W. Peking Court, Dunnellon.

* A petit theft was reported at 3:39 p.m. Feb. 5 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Inverness.

* A petit theft was reported at 6:10 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 1900 block of N. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

* A felony retail theft was reported at 8:18 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 4400 block of N. Carl G. Rose Highway, Hernando.
