Domestic battery arrests
* Melvin Mathers, 43, of Crystal River, at 7:38 p.m. Monday on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. No bond.
* Jason Allen, 33, of Homosassa, at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday on a felony charge of tampering with a witness, victim or informant and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. No bond.
Other arrests
* Trevor Kilpatrick, 21, of North Fitzpatrick Avenue, Inverness, at 11:18 a.m. Monday for violation of probation on an original felony charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. No bond.
* Patricia Hall, 24, of North Shadow Wood Drive, Inverness, at 11:33 a.m. Monday for violation of probation on an original felony charge of conspiracy to commit sale of hydromorphone. No bond.
* Christopher Rice, 23, of Monroe Street West, Inverness, at 5:53 p.m. Monday on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court for an original felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
* Maddie Cryer, 25, of South Kings Avenue, Homosassa, at 9:13 p.m. Monday on a Citrus County warrant for violation of probation on an original felony charge of grand theft. No bond.
* Ashleigh Sailers, 24, of Crystal River, at 10:10 p.m. Monday on misdemeanor charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting an officer without violence and trespassing in a structure or conveyance after warning. Bond $1,150.
* Thomas Hayes, 23, of East Wingate Street, Inverness, at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday on a Virginia warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond.
* Matthew Dey, 26, of North Robin Hood Road, Inverness, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on a felony charge of retail theft. According to his arrest affidavit, he is accused of taking a laptop computer from Walmart in Inverness. Bond $2,000.
* Cynthia Smith, 51, of West Autumn Street, Homosassa, at 2 p.m. Tuesday on misdemeanor charges of retail petit theft and petit theft. Bond $2,000.
* Anthony Adcock, 23, of North Canyon Terrace, Hernando, at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal mischief. According to his arrest affidavit, he is accused of punching a woman in the face and head-butting her. He is also accused of striking her car with a piece of lumber. Bond $7,000.
Burglaries
* A vehicle burglary was reported at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, in the 4300 block of W. Lee Ann Lane, Lecanto.
* A vehicle burglary was reported at 12:09 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 600 block of Whispering Pines Blvd., Inverness.
* A vehicle burglary was reported at 6:54 p.m. Jan. 29 in the area of W. Sasser St. and South Memorial drive, Homosassa.
Thefts
* A petit theft was reported at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, in the 600 block of Park Lake Terrace, Inverness.
* A felony retail theft was reported at 12:18 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.
