Citrus County Sheriff’s Office
DUI arrests
* Jonathon Bierman, 33, of East Winnetka Street, Hernando, at 8:27 p.m. Monday on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to his arrest affidavit, he was pulled over in the area of North Florida Avenue and East Spooner Lane in Hernando for a taillight violation. A sheriff’s deputy noticed the odor of alcohol on him and had him perform a series of sobriety tasks. He had difficulty performing the sobriety tasks and refused to submit to a breath test. Bond $500.
* Jason Bates, 41, of West Green Court, Dunnellon, at 9:29 p.m. Monday on felony charges of driving under the influence (third offense) and driving while license suspended (third offense). According to his arrest affidavit, a law enforcement officer stopped him after checking his vehicle tag information and seeing the registered owner’s driver’s license was suspended. During the stop, the officer noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Bates, and there was an open can of beer in the vehicle. Bates reportedly said he had “been drinking for two weeks straight.” He refused to submit to a field sobriety test and tests of his breath. Bond $7,000.
Domestic battery arrest
* Matthew Chaney, 36, of Lecanto, at 10:29 p.m. Monday on a felony charge of domestic battery by strangulation. No bond.
Other arrests
* Justin Richard, 21, of West Gardenia Drive, Dunnellon, at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday on a Marion County warrant for violation of probation on an original felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. No bond.
* Sara Brandon, 22, of East Okeechobee Court, Floral City, at 10:33 a.m. Tuesday on a felony charge of grand theft. According to her arrest affidavit, she admitted to taking part in the theft of multiple items, including tools and vehicle parts, because of a drug dependency problem. Bond $2,000.
* Jeremy Hayes, 23, of East Okeechobee Court, Floral City, at 10:33 a.m. Tuesday on felony charges of grand theft and giving false verification of ownership to a metal recycler. According to his arrest affidavit, he admitted to taking part in the theft of multiple items, including tools and vehicle parts, and taking the items to metal recyclers. Bond $7,000.
* Henley Corne, 30, of East Turner Camp Road, Inverness, at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday on felony charges of grand theft and giving false verification of ownership to a metal recycler. According to his arrest affidavit, he admitted to taking part in the theft of multiple items, including miscellaneous car and boat parts. Bond $7,000.
* Lynard Summerlin, 32, of Northeast First Terrace, Crystal River, at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday on a Citrus County warrants for a felony charge of habitual driving while license suspended, a misdemeanor charge of operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement and failure to pay. Bond $3,070.
* Kerri O’Brien, 32, of Melissa Drive, Beverly Hills, at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on felony charges of grand theft and burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. According to her arrest affidavit, she is accused of taking multiple items from a vehicle at Citrus Memorial hospital. The items included luggage, an iPad, cellphone and a handbag. She denied the charges. Bond $3,000.
* William Roddenberry, 45, of West Pasco Place, Homosassa, at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday on a felony charge of habitual driving while license suspended. Bond $2,000.
* Brian Seamer, 28, of West Van Buren Drive, Homosassa, at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday on a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. According to his arrest affidavit, the alleged victim told authorities he was visiting a friend on West Van Buren Drive and when he walked out of his friend’s home, Seamer, the friend’s next-door neighbor, began yelling at him about $20 the victim owed him for an oxycodone pill. An argument ensued, and Seamer allegedly sprayed the victim’s face with mace. At one point, Seamer started to walk away and came back with what the victim believed was a pipe, striking the victim in the head. The victim went to Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center for treatment. Seamer told an investigator he had confronted the alleged victim about $20 he owed him for a tool and the victim attacked him. Later during the interview, he told the investigator the victim had first sprayed him with mace before attacking him. He also said later that the argument was over a pill. Bond $5,000.
* Timothy Delaney, 63, of North Shorewood Drive, Hernando, at 11:43 a.m Wednesday on a felony charge of grand theft. According to his arrest affidavit, he is accused of taking multiple items from Walmart in Inverness. Bond $2,000.

* A commercial burglary was reported at 6:46 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the 6500 block of S. Withlapopka Drive, Floral City.
* A commercial burglary was reported at 7:52 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 500 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Lecanto.
* A residential burglary was reported at 10:20 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 6300 block of S. Florida Ave., Floral City.
* A commercial burglary was reported at 1:17 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 9800 block of N. Citrus Ave., Crystal River.
* A residential burglary was reported at 4:06 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 8100 block of W. Windhaven Place, Homosassa.
* A residential burglary was reported at 12:19 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the 300 block of S. Washington St., Beverly Hills.
* A vehicle burglary was reported at 1:45 a.m. Dec. 13 in the 600 block of Edgewood Ave.,     Inverness.

* A grand theft was reported at 1:03 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the 9000 block of N. Alpinia Drive, Dunnellon.
* A petit theft was reported at 2:26 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 4700 block of W. Foxhill Lane,             Homosassa.
* A grand theft was reported at 7:23 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 200 block of Tompkins St., Inverness.
* A petit theft was reported at 9:12 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 70 block of Civic Circle, Beverly Hills.
* A grand theft was reported at 10:55 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 100 block of W. Main St., Inverness.
