Citrus County Sheriff’s Office

DUI arrests

*  Doreen Garger, 44, of West Finch Court, Lecanto, at 11:52 p.m. Friday on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to her arrest affidavit, she was pulled over after failing to move to the outside lane while passing a law enforcement vehicle that was stopped on the shoulder of U.S. 19. A law enforcement officer noticed the odor of alcohol and saw a can of beer in the center of the vehicle. The officer had also noticed smoke coming from her rear tires earlier and noted it looked as though she had the parking brake on. When questioned, she “seemed confused and advised that the brake was disengaged,” according to the affidavit. She had difficulty performing field sobriety tasks and refused to submit to a test of her breath. Bond $500.

* Christopher Baldwin, 38, of West Goldenleaf Lane, Crystal River, at 12:59 a.m. Sunday on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving while license suspended. According to his arrest affidavit, he was pulled over in the area of South Suncoast Boulevard and West Ozello Trail in Crystal River. A sheriff’s deputy noticed the odor of alcohol on his breath, and Baldwin reportedly said he had consumed about 12 beers while at an area bar. Tests of his breath showed his blood alcohol concentration was 0.168 percent and 0.170 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent. Bond $10,500.

Domestic battery arrest

*  Jackeline Diaz, 47, of Beverly Hills, at 8:34 p.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. No bond.

Other arrests

* Zackariah Duvall, 21, of South Lake Terrace, Homosassa, at 10:45 a.m. Friday on a Citrus County warrant for violation of probation on an original felony charge of cocaine possession. No bond.

* Daniel Banks, 28, of East Benjamin Street, Hernando, at 1:06 p.m. Friday on a Citrus County warrant for violation of probation on an original felony charge of trafficking in stolen property. No bond.

*  Patricia Tewksbury, 56, of Homosassa, at 1:37 p.m. Friday on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing after warning. Bond $250.

* Dennis Cline, 55, of South Nolen Terrace, Inverness, at 1:53 p.m. Friday on a Manatee County warrant for a felony charge of scheming to defraud $50,000 or more. Bond $150,000.

* Brittany Moore, 23, of Brussels Avenue, Interlachen, at 5:41 p.m. Friday on a Marion County warrant for a misdemeanor charge of retail petit theft. Bond $2,000.

* Christopher Spearman, 29, of Lyman, S.C., at 5:56 p.m. Friday on a misdemeanor charge of violation of injunction. No bond.

* Terrance Hurst, 29, of South Washington Street, Beverly Hills, at 8:16 p.m. Friday on a Marion County warrant for violation of probation on an original felony charge of petit theft. No bond.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 2:35 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 6300 block of S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa.

* A residential burglary was reported at 11:49 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 3000 block of N. Pennsylvania Ave., Crystal River.

* A vehicle burglary was reported at 11:11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the 4600 block of S. Le Woods Drive, Homosassa.

* A residential burglary was reported at 2:39 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 11500 block of E. Salmon Drive, Floral City.

* A residential burglary was reported at 3:22 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 6700 block of E. Forester Court, Floral City.

* A residential burglary was reported at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the 3300 block of S. Dayton Terrace, Inverness.
