Robert Freismuth, 78
The Service of Remembrance for Robert C. Freismuth, 78, Inverness, who died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Cremation will be under the direction of Hooper Crematory, Inverness. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
Helen Gelsky, 85
Helen Gelsky, 85, of Beverly Hills passed away on Thursday, May 1, at Life Care Center of Citrus County. She had been under the care of Hospice of Citrus County, in addition to the wonderful care provided by the nursing home.
Mrs. Gelsky was born in New York City on Feb. 17, 1923, where she grew up, married and raised her two children. In 1973, Mrs. Gelsky moved to Tobyhanna, Pa., where she and her husband worked together in their jewelry business and were active in the community. In 1988, they retired to Beverly Hills and were living in The Glen until she became ill 13 months ago.
Mrs. Gelsky was a member of Congregation Beth Sholom in Beverly Hills. Her interests included knitting, playing bridge, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Irving Kessler and Bernard Kessler, both of New York. She is survived by David, her devoted husband of 65 years, and two daughters, Karen Blickstein of South Carolina, and Barbara Popka of Maryland; four grandchildren, Neil Santa Anna, Jennifer Worden, Rebecca Popka and Bryan Popka; and three great-grandchildren, Gregory Santa Anna, Riley Santa Anna, and Sophie Worden.
A private graveside service was held on May 4 at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, June 22, at 11 a.m. at the Beverly Hills Jewish Center/Congregation Beth Sholom. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
JoAnn Harrison, 54
JoAnn Harrison, 54, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away May 7, 2008, at her residence in Homosassa.
She was born in Dunedin, Florida and arrived in the area in 1987 coming from Oldsmar, Florida.
She was a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator for Nature Coast Clinical Research in Inverness. She was a Christian.
Survivors include son Brayton Siddell Jr., of Crystal River; daughters Melissa Pezzuti of Homosassa and Kimberly Siddell of Beverly Hills, Florida; mother Henrietta Baltimore of Oldsmar, Florida; brother Tom Baltimore of Charlotte, North Carolina and sister Fern Harmen of Oldsmar, Florida; and 4 grandchildren.

Frances Love, 85
The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Frances T. Love, age 85, of Floral City, will be held 10 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Father Eugene Reuman officiating. Interment will follow in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

She was born November 28, 1922, in Kulpmont, Pennsylvania, daughter of Daniel and Eva (Borys) Terenick.
Mrs. Love died Monday, May 5, 2008, in Floral City.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, Inverness.
She enjoyed fishing, crabbing and word puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Love (06/22/94) and daughter, Patricia J. Ingham (01/05/95).
Surviving are son, Thomas W. Love, Jr. of Sealy, TX; 3 daughters: Kathy F. Cichon and husband, Al of Turner, ME; Leslie A. Gosik and husband, Keith of Prescott Valley, AZ; Sharon K. Love and companion, Buddy Olear of Floral City, FL; 9 grandchildren: David D. Shawver, Terry E. Ingham, Rhonda Faulkner, Frances Faulkner, Rosemarie Linder, Adam Cichon, Lisa Hogan, Brandy Ramos, and Robert DeFelice; and 11 great grandchildren.

Lawrence Sprague, 74
Lawrence Edward Sprague, 74, of Dunnellon, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at his home.
Born in Heartsville, Ind., Sept. 17, 1933, and moved to this area in 1972 from Columbus, Ind.
Lawrence was a retired turbine mechanic for Florida Power, and was a school crossing guard for the Crystal River Police Dept. for many years. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother and granddaughter.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Sprague of Dunnellon; 2 sons, Mark (Pauline) Sprague of Victoria, TX, and Danny (Paula) Sprague, of Bronson; 2 daughters, Janet (David) Cooper of Seymour, IN, and Rose Shaw of Camp Verde, AZ; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Bronson, with Pastor Steve Garnett officiating. Friends will be received at the Church from 10 a.m. Monday until the hour of service. Interment will be in Fountains Memorial Park. Wilder Funeral Home.
Thomas Planner, 72

He was born July 6, 1935, in Union County, New Jersey, son of George Frank and Margaret May (Lesbirel) Planner.
Mr. Planner died Thursday, May 8, 2008, in Inverness.
He was the owner/operator of a ceramics business.
Mr. Planner was a U.S. Army Veteran serving for 11 years; a life member of DAV Chapter #96, Lake Panasoffkee; and an avid bingo player.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Planner, Inverness; 4 Sons: Danny Reese, Tommy Planner, Bobby Planner, Keith Planner; a daughter, Dale Herman, 3 stepsons: Gary Atchison, Kerry Atchison, and Jerry Atchison; a brother: Eddie Planner; 14 grandchildren; and many cousins, including Edna Disbrow, his favorite.
