CRYSTAL RIVER — A Crystal River man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of unlawful sexual activity involving a 3-year-old girl, according to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
Daryl Lee Veltman, 18, West Greenwood Lane, faces a felony charge of sexual battery. There is no bond.
According to the arrest report, the child was interviewed by a child protection team at Jessie’s Place, a child adcovacy facility, which initiated an investigation.
When the girl was asked what happened she reportedly told of inappropriate sexual acts by Veltman.
When investigators confronted Veltman, he admitted to inappropriate sexual activity, according to an arrest report. He also advised of a second victim in another jurisdiction.
He was arrested and transported to the Citrus County Detention Facility.

Years ago if someone knew what this guy was doing or had done, he never would have made it out of the woods alive........I'm sure there's plenty of shallow graves back in the woods.........We're just too politically correct now to do it the right way. He'll be kept in an air conditioned cell eating green jello until some smart-ass lawyer figures a way for him to get out.......Maybe the other inmates will get him while the guards are having coffee..........

Shit like this makes me sick to my stomach. This sorry excuse for a man would not have made it to jail if this happened to my daughter. I honestly do not think I could stop myself from harming someone who could ever even think of touching a child.
