Inverness man arrested on child abuse charge

An Inverness man was arrested Sunday evening on a charge of aggravated child abuse after a 14-year-old girl accused him of stomping on her stomach and torso.
The alleged incident happened during an argument the suspect, 40-year-old Ronnie Decker, and the girl were having about a telephone conversation the girl overheard, according to his arrest affidavit. The girl reportedly hit Decker during the altercation. He admitted to arguing with the girl but denied intentionally stepping on or kicking her.
The girl did not require immediate medical attention, but an investigator encouraged the girl’s mother to take her to a hospital for a medical examination.
Decker was arrested and taken to the Citrus County Detention Facility, where he was held without bond.

It's typical for the CCSO to just arrest and charge a man! They are so biased it's pathetic. They are old fashioned and need to wake up! The game is old! The 14 yr old girl needs to be transported to Ocala to the kiddy jail with the charge of assault! That's right...she started the whole thing by running her big old mouth and getting into adult business she doesn't have any business being in and then hits the guy! She's lucky he just put his foot on her stomach. I believe the guy was trying to do the right thing by not hitting her and she runs and calls the police because she scared. I believe in the THEORY to not hit women but, in this redneck backwards hick town.....I hear many of em yelling screaming and they get to the point where they don't want to shut up & somebody needs to give em a good sock in their mouths! Around this area you don't see many ladies, we raise hellians......fat, loud mouth, ugly man looking women that they need to be treated like they treat others! It's time to show these young ones that when they think they wanna be bad......what bad really is! This certainly wasn't child abuse, unless the Comical left out the rest of the story like they usually do.
