I CONFESS I AM TOTALLY TECH CHALLENGED

I have no idea what happened, but apparently between 2010 and now, I missed some important information pertinent to what is happening now.in the world of Technology I remember signing up for Face Book in 2010., and if my memory serves me correctly, Face Book, was pretty simple..no crazy Posts, just simple thoughts and pictures put on by friends.

I remember how exciting it was to begin my search to see who I could find as far as long lost relatives, and friends from my past. and the excitement of locating relatives I didn't know I had, and Classmates from "Long Ago".

All communication between relatives and friends found was done by E Mail, and if I had a phone number by phone.

This is where everything gets fuzzy..all I know is one day when I went on Face Book everything had changed..there was this new thing called "Chat" where in "real time" you could "talk" to different friends, and even a multiple number of friends..Instead of having just simple things on my Face Book..I found myself looking at some "messages" that were nothing short of bizarre. Messages from friends asking me to send messages to 20 friends telling them that I Love Them, and that if the sender was not one of the 20 I sent this message of Love to. they would know who "Didn't Love Them" Talk about "laying on a guilt trip. In order to have this happen, I was told to hold my finger on the text, and then "copy and paste" it..of course this resuted in first of all nothing happening, and me sending a warm and fuzzy message of Love to the sender with an enclosed "message" that I am Tech Challenged! One of the biggest things was I received this same message from three other "friends" which meant I would have to send this message to 80 friends, making sure each sender was one of the ones to receive this touching message of love..followed by my explanation of why they were not recieving this message through copy and pasting..because I am Very Tech Challenged.

I also missed when Cell Phones were no longer for talking on, but for sending messages called "Texts". which were not full messages, but abbreviations of words using as few sylabels as possible..I was recently informed by someone very close to me, when I mentioned how I missed "Hearing their voice" that they "Hated talking on the phone and only liked to text"..to which I texted them a message, only to be told that texting was not "writing a letter"..and i needed to learn to text...so now I am looking to buy a book on "How To Text"...maybe they have one on "How To Forward A Message" by "Holding Finger On Message"...
