The Crystal River City Council will meet three times this week to handle several issues — twice Monday as the Community Redevelopment Agency and as the regular council, and on Wednesday city staff will answer queries at a public meeting about the construction work on Cutler Spur Boulevard.
At the Community Redevelopment Agency meeting slated to begin at 6:30 p.m., the council is expected address a timeline plan for crosswalk construction and improvements on North Citrus Avenue.
During its 7 p.m. regular meeting, council members will:
+ Consider approval of a resolution for funding of code enforcement issues in the amount of $15,000.
+ Consider approval of the annual year-end cost adjustment for the Veolia contract in the amount of $7,320.50. Veolia operates the city’s water and sewer system.
+ Tackle the purchase of a grapple truck (trash master) from RDK Truck Sales with a base price of $107,982 with additions of $1,600 for a total sum of $109,582.
+ Hear a presentation on future sewer force main requirements.
+ Hear a verbal update on the construction schedule for the Cutler Spur Boulevard improvements.
+ Hear a presentation on alternate methods in design and construction of the proposed Hunters Spring Park improvement master plan.
At 6 p.m. Wednesday, City Manager Andy Houston said staff will lead a public meeting about the improvements and construction schedule for Cutler Spur.
