During my speaking engagements, I often hear questions about driving, questions like “When is it time to take away the keys?”
Understandably, people want to avoid this decision as long as possible and often they let impaired loved ones continue to drive with rationalizations such as “They do just fine when I am with them; “He only drives the car in town;” or “She hasn’t had an accident yet.”
