Congratulations to all finishers! Fitness in Citrus is over for 2012.

Everyone has been working hard for six weeks, doing their best for Fitness in Citrus: Community-Wide Fitness Challenge 2012.  Congratulations to all finishers. Say a big "Hooray" -- you made it!

Although the points-accumulation push is over, everyone should try to keep exercise in the daily schedule [get outdoors to enjoy this perfect weather!].   Congratulations to members of the Hot Shots team, who competed recently in the Shamrock Scamper run … and took winning honors in their age groups.

As the folks at the Mayo Clinic say, you know exercise is good for you, but do you know exactly how good?  Here's a link to one of their online articles that summarizes the 7 most important health benefits of exercise: httpwww.mayoclinic.com/health/exercise/HQ01676  .

ACTION -- IMPORTANT -- Remember to have everyone complete & submit two items this week:
1. The self-assessment [need to fill in the "after" part; the "before" part should have been done at the beginning of the Challenge]
2. The program evaluation … and we especially would like comments & suggestions & stories about how things went
