  • 3209-1127 THCRN Governing Board Meeting / Committee Meetings / Public Hearing PUBLIC NOTICE The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) announces the following public meeting to which all interested persons are invited: Governing Board Meeting, Committee Meetings and Public Hearing: Consider SWFWMD business. There will be an opportunity for public input on the intention to amend the Districts Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 budget as follows: Increase the FY2014-15 General Fund budget by $360,000 from $161,510,414 to $161,870,414 and increase the Districts FY2014-15 total budget from $166,338,619 to $166,698,619 to include unanticipated revenue from the Department of Environmental Protection for Springs Initiative Monitoring. The proposed budget amendment will not impact the Districts millage rate or ad valorem property taxes. All or part of this meeting may be conducted by means of communications media technology in order to permit maximum participation of Governing Board members.
