  • 3002-0925 THCRN City of Inverness PUBLIC NOTICE LIFT STATION REHABILITATION SECTION 00020 - INVITATION TO BID BID NO: DPW2014-2 ADVERTISE DATE: September 18, 2014 The City of Inverness invites established contractors, licensed by the State of Florida, to submit sealed bids for the City of Inverness Lift Station Rehabilitation Project. Bids will be received by City Clerk, Debbie Davis, until 2:00 pm on October 10, 2014 at: City of Inverness Government Center 212 West Main Street Inverness, Florida 34450 Sealed bids shall be opened and read aloud at a public meeting at 2:15 pm on October 10, 2014. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Construction of the CITY OF INVERNESS Lift Station Rehabilitation Project consisting of the following major components: Control Panel Replacement Submersible Pump Replacement Wet well and valve vault piping rehabilitation Temporary bypass of lift stations during construction Live valve insertion and valve replacements SPECIFICATIONS will be available electronically beginning September 18, 2014. Please send an email request with contact information to PublicWorks@Inverness-FL.gov to receive an electronic copy of the bid documents. If a paper copy of the bid documents is requested, all mailing costs for the contract documents shall be borne by the prospective bidder. Bid documents may also be viewed in the Public Works Department at the City of Inverness Government Center, 212 W. FINAL DATE FOR QUESTIONS will be October 6, 2014.
